This privacy policy sets out how the Sustainable Biomass Program Limited (SBP) uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website. We will only use this information subject to your instructions, data protection law and our duty to maintain confidentiality

SBP is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

However, we will normally collect and process personal information from you only with your consent, when we need the personal information to perform contractual obligations with you, or where the processing is in our legitimate interests and not overridden by your data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.

What we collect

  • contact information including email address
  • demographic information such as post code, preferences and interests
  • other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

When submitting forms on our website we use a third-party software provider for automated data collection and processing purposes, they will not use your data for any purposes and will only hold the data in line with our policy on data retention.

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of this website. IP addresses

An IP or Internet Protocol Address is a unique numerical address assigned to a computer as it logs on to the internet. We do not have access to any personal identifiable information and we would never seek this information. Your IP address is logged when visiting our site, but our analytic software only uses this information to track how many visitors we have from particular regions.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

How long will we hold your data for?

We will not retain data longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations. When you ask to be removed from any of the mailing lists, all Personal Data collected will be deleted, as required by applicable law.
