BLE and Nabisy
The BLE (Bundesanstalt für Landwirtschaft und Ernährung) in Germany mandates the use of Nabisy (Nationales Nachweissystem für Biomasse) for all organisations involved in supplying, trading, and using biomass for energy in the German market. Nabisy is the national database system designed to ensure compliance with sustainability criteria for biomass used in bioenergy production, as set by German and EU regulations.
SBP has registered with Nabisy and is recognised and authorised to validate compliance with sustainability criteria, providing the necessary Proof of Compliance for our Certificate Holders (Biomass Producers and Traders) doing business in the German biomass market.
Certificate Holders (Biomass Producers and Traders) should complete the relevant application forms and submit them to SBP at technical@sbp-cert.org:
SBP will review all forms submitted (and if necessary request amendments) before submitting them to BLE for entry into Nabisy. Once entered, a digital Nabisy Proof will be generated and sent directly to the Certificate Holder.
If, after submission, amendments are required to any of the data, Certificate Holders should complete the following forms and submit them to SBP at technical@sbp-cert.org:
Please note that Nabisy is not part of the SBP certification system. Further, SBP has no influence over the duration or outcome of the application process and will be unable to answer any questions regarding the status of the application.
